The Revolting Syrian-يلا إرحل يا بشار: THE SYRIAN REVOLUTION - HOW YOU CAN HELP

leaveobashar:

I am not a writer by nature, so there is nothing poetic about this post of mine. My aim is to bring attention to the plight of freedom seeking Syrians against overwhelming odds and to convince people around the world to raise money to aid those that are the worst affected in Syria.

As I’ve…

A dedication to all the women of Freedom in Syria, the brave ones, to the mother that lost her child, the wife that lost her husband, the sister that lost her brother, the lover that lost her fiance, and to the woman that lost her most precious to the dogs of Assad, I dedicate this to the women raped by the syrian army and thugs in Baba Amr, Homs.

“It is far too late to accept reforms, especially after the fall of 3,000 martyrs,” said Maram, a 35-year-old Syrian Canadian who lives in Windsor, Ontario.

Maram, who posts many videos online of the violent crackdown against protestors, said the majority of Syrians are eager to end the rule of Basher al-Assad.

Malek Jandali is an Award-winning composer and pianist. And a proud Syrian.

He sang for the freedom of his country at a ‘freedom for Syria’ rally in Washington, DC.

His parents, Dr. & Mrs. Jandali, were dealt a very brutal attack by Syrian government thugs in ‘retaliation’ for the performance.

(photos of that brutality can be seen at the mini-blog of a fellow tumblr, La Free)
